Children's Hospice International and CareFlash Partner to Help Children
HOUSTON, May 15, 2008 --
Children's Hospice International, a Virginia-based nonprofit that serves as an advocate in meeting the needs of children with life-threatening conditions and their families around the world, has launched an alliance with CareFlash.
Ann Armstrong-Dailey, Founding Director and CEO of Children's Hospice International stated, "Children with life-threatening conditions and their families need to be able to communicate with their extended family and friends; it means a great deal to everyone to be able to reach out and provide appropriate support. We are honored that CareFlash has invited Children's Hospice International to join their efforts to facilitate effective communication to these families in need."

Austin Faught, Vice President, Business Development for CareFlash added, "Children's Hospice International has been hard at work for over 20 years. Their mission to extend hospice care to children from the point of diagnosis, with hope for a cure, has had a global impact. CHI leads the way for global partners to join together in maximizing the most innovative care techniques. This alliance with CareFlash comes at an appropriate time, as we have recently released the 3D medical animations on CareFlash in numerous languages."

We deliver unprecedented healthcare advocacy and world class education to people in the richest circumstances imaginable, while offering unique philanthropic benefits to healthcare-related foundations, advocacy groups, religious institutions, etc. What CareFlash does is unique and unprecedented... and free.
When someone learns that they (or their loved one) have been diagnosed with a chronic healthcare challenge, a flurry of painful emotions appear ranging from fear and feelings of aloneness, to anxiety, uncertainty and even depression. As families begin the process of navigating through this experience together, it commonly becomes clear that people are unprepared and inexperienced at the realities of serving as a caretaker. CareFlash addresses these challenges, empowering our users to do the following:
Establish private and secure online communities around a loved one in order to share and facilitate updates, discussions and well-wishes
In addition, CareFlash delivers unique philanthropic benefits to healthcare-related foundations and institutions, advocacy groups and religious institutions via alliance partnerships that provide them fundraising and marketing... never at any cost to them.
